You got to be kidding me!!!

So far January has SUCKED!!! Everyone in my family has been sick. Before the new year Macy came down with a Strep throat and it was miserable for her. Every night was a nightmare having to wake up to her in pain 3-5 times a night for over a week! then Blue got a nasty cold and it turned into an ear infection. So for weeks now we haven't had a break. I can't remember what it was like to have a healthy family! I just want to crawl under a rock and not come out till snotty faces and diarrhea have been baned from our family routine!!

So if that wasn't enough...Wednesday night Blue and I come down with the Stomach Flu and are barfing for the next two days. While all this is happening, Macy is starting to feel better finally. But oh wait!!! This morning Macy throws up and is coughing up a storm and in bed all day and is now crying over her ear hurting! Mike has a bad cold too! we are all just falling apart! Thankfully we haven't seen vomit for about 12 hours but are having our fair share of coughs and snotty noses again!

Is there a light at the end of this tunnel? will the smell of my house ever not smell like a sick ward! do kids really sleep through the night or is that an urban myth?is it ok that i never want to step foot in a doctors office for a very LONG time!!!

The worst part is seeing my little ones so sad and miserable! they are so snuggly and needy. i just want to make them better! it's hard being a mom and not being able to make it all better. i keep thinking if we all just had a good nights sleep we could kick this ...you know the last time i had a good nights sleep? oh yeah! it was some time last year!

I am so sorry that you, and the whole family are still sick. I am hoping that this is going to be your fill of sickness for the year! Hugs are being sent to you, and your family.

I know what you mean about January and Sicknesses, we have spent the last three weeks getting over something or another. ALl of us in our family has been sick. Both my kids had RSV and STREP for a couple of weeks, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, it could take awhile, but it is there if you stare at it long enough.

Hang in there...maybe you'll get it all over with this month and be done with it for the rest of the year??;)
