Uncle Chris, Car shopping and Panda Express

How cool is Uncle Chris! Sooooo cool! Chris was such a rock star Uncle this weekend! He offered to entertain the girls for a great stretch of time and let Mike and I enjoy the evening alone! The girls were in heaven and of course slightly annoying all day long till it was finally time to head down to see him! " Is it time to go yet!!!" They were spoiled and loved by Uncle Chris! Thanks again!

While we were kidless we totally took advantage of the chance to go car shopping without monkeys! Now that was a treat! WE are in teh market for a new car for me. With monkey #3 soon arriving we've been doing our best to narrow it down to a few choices. Typical....I want a mini van and Mike would like something with a little more cool factor. We agree on the advantages of both but I still have my fingers crossed that a MV is in my future. I just really want to avoid having a third row that my kids have to crawl over a seat to get to and I'm forced to buckle kids through the back door! Sorry Folks but A: I'm lazy and B: Mini Vans just make sense! And I've never really cared what people think of the car I drive!HELLO!!! I drive a '99 corolla that looks like crap but drive amazing! I'd keep that car forever if it was practical for a growing family!

And lastly Panda Express. Mike loves that place! I can always find 5 other places I'd rather eat at! But there we were, rounding out our night in line trying to pick our final item in our three item combo! May I recommend the Potato Chicken! Probably the only thing I enjoyed! But here's the upside to eating at Panda... Maybe, just maybe because Mike got to pick dinner that night I can pick my mini van!!! You think he'd go for that!?

You have my vote. A van is great with little ones. You will love it. If you have problems with Mike just let me talk to him.
You are all wonderful.

I have a '05 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It has push button doors and the seats fold into the floor besides all of the other fun bells and whistles. But...I also love Panda Express.

I too have a mini van and I am a huge fan. It is so practical with the kids. I have a 2007 Toyota Sienna. It is perfect in everyway except that we didn't get a DVD player. We use a portable one instead for long trips.

Hang in there - I talked Matt into an Odyssey and he ended up loving it. In fact, when I downsized a couple of years ago, the next time he needed a car for him, he came home with an Odyssey!! Way to go soccer dad!

ah, how I dream of a mini van, and I only have one kid! I just love how easy it is to load and unload kids! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get what you want, try working the mpg angle, saving Mike money, that should work!!!
