Little Dancin' Machine!

Look what we have on our hands! A Prima Ballerina!!! Macy started Dance class yesterday! I signed her up last minute and she couldn't wait all day to get to class! She kept asking me if we were late! She has a handful of friends in the class and I am a sucker for a cute Macy in her new little dance outfit! She took right to it with no problems and had a ball! Now I have to fight with her each moring! She already is asking if it's time for dance class and she put her dance outfit on again! I'll be hiding it from now on!!!!

I was reluctant to sign her up for dance! I have a really hard time with dance schools and programs that have these tiny young girls all dolled up with tons of makeup and hair and crazy revealing outfits. And some of the moves they do are a little to provocative for me. Again... that's just me! I was happy to find a litlte dance class at the local community center! At this age I'm surprised any teacher can get 12 girls to listen and follow along. I'm not expecting perfect pirouettes or toe touches. I just want her to have a fun time and learn to follow instructions and work well in a group!!!

Here is our pretty dancing queen!!!!!

This is too cute. I think my little ella is going to love to dance. I just love these girls in all of their pink doing girly things.
And I agree with you on some of these intense kids classes. We put Luke in gymnastics at SCATS thinking it would just be a fun way to work on coordination and following directions. I swear these people were training him for the Olympics. They even sent him home with homework!!! We took him out asap and enrolled him in a fun, care-free class.

Oh she looks so cute! I love her little outfit! I saw some at Target the other day and just thought I can't wait until Kate is old enough for dance, hopefully she will be as enthusiastic as Macy!

The picture of Macy jumping through the air is priceless! :)

Your little girl is such a little princess. How old is she? It was so much fun to get to know you last night at Bunco. You have a gorgeous family and can't wait to hear more about what you guys are up to!

We went back and forth FOREVER trying to decide whether to put Felicity in dance or gymnastics. We finally decided on gymnastics and it's been great! But if we ever get some extra money we will be putting her in dance too! She is such a dancer always running around the house putting on different costumes and shows for us! How fun for Macy though! Love the outfits of all the girls! That would be a great scrapbook page :o) I bet she loves it :o)

OHhh I love little girls especially in cute dance leotards. Sounds like you guys are fitting in great in Utah. Your girls are so dang cute. I totally know what you mean about the little girls in Makeup and the provocative dance moves. Yuck! I don't want my 5 year old pelvic thrusting and stuff. ha!
